Al Gore Creates a TV Network

General, Humor — April 5, 2005 @ 12:21 am

Al GoreAl Gore has reportedly teamed up with Google to create a new TV network called “Current” (is this your final attempt to remain relevant, Al?) that supposedly targets 18-34 year olds (apparently MTV is officially fired, and MoveOn.org has been scientifically proven to be a useless venture). Finally we can believe the story that Al Gore did create the Internet — he’s working with Google so it must be true!

Unfortunately, I guess much of the prime time programming will be devoted to the task of afflicting unsuspecting poor young adults with Al’s ferocious tirades about blood for oil and global warming. Television sets and cable boxes all over America simultaneously slip into a collective state of extreme trepidation…

I wonder what kind of programming they’re planning on having… for 18 to 35 yr olds.. could be racey. Shouldn’t an 18 to 35 yr old be planning this, rather than good ol’ Al?

Maybe, maybe, we’ll get the history of the internet from it’s origins, hrm, hrm, ;) or maybe we’ll find out how to search better and look for those hard to find google-whacks.

    tee hee

Global warming is a myth to ellicit funds for worthless research. The truth about climate change is that it is a natural phenomenon, and there is nothing that humans can do to change it….in spite of what all the chicken littles keep clucking about.

Gore truely takes the cake eh? What a rube!
