Moving, Linuxworld, Birthdays
So I moved to my new apartment this past weekend, across the street. It’s so much nicer than the previous one … I was starting to suffocate in that place and was getting increasingly dissatisfied with the whole environment. I’m loving the new place so far — the only problem I’ve had is that my bedroom door won’t close. Hopefully they’ll get that fixed in the next day or two. As for work, I’m getting a bit stagnant with my current project — too many snags, too many impasses, not enough assistance.
I’m praying for a breakthrough on this one.
LinuxWorld is next week, and I’m going, for the first time! The Enlightenment project will be demoing at our very own booth at the Expo starting Tuesday August 3rd, so if by any chance you live in the San Francisco/Bay area or will be going to the conference, make sure you drop by to say hi and check out our software. I will be there throughout Tuesday and then I’ll have to jet back down to Houston the next morning, so if you want to catch me you’ll want to come by on Tuesday.
And now for the regular dose of shoutouts — Happy Birthday to Eric from Canada(tm), Magnos, and my wonderful pastor Scott Crenshaw!
