D.C. Trip

Yeah, so, like, I went to D.C. this past Sunday so I could attend my friend’s wedding. The wedding was to be in the afternoon, right, so, like, I got up early in the morning, grabbed some coffee from a nearby cafe, and then I like, caught the Metro and headed straight for the city. I saw lots of cool stuff, like the Lincoln Memorial (that old Abe guy is so totally awesome!), the “Giant Obelisk”, the brand new World War II memorial etc. It was totally cool, and by the time the day was over, I was like, so tired I couldn’t walk, and my feet are still aching from that trip even now! When I got there I realized I had forgotten my camera at home, and I was like, bummer, and so I’m like, what am I going to do now, and then I find this kiosk, and this guy is like selling souvenirs and stuff, and I bought this disposable camera from the guy, so I took pictures anyway, and I posted them in my gallery for you guys! Congratulations to Ebere and Gesla, God bless your marriage!

Andy KaufmanStunning news from New York: Andy Kaufman is reportedly alive and well, and has returned after 20 years in what is supposed to be the greatest comic prank of all time. He even has a blog, and stories claim that DNA tests, fingerprints, blood samples etc. all prove that it is really him. I refuse to believe.

Just keeping it real

A shell gas station owner in Menlo Park, California put up these prices, vividly representing a situation generally felt all over the USA today (I didn’t think I’d see the day gas would sell for >$2.00/gallon in Houston, but now I have).

Speaking of sharp drops…

Some Slashdot user posted this graph of SCOX (the company otherwise known as the Litigious Bastards) over the past 6 months, with a uniquely interesting perspective. Quite amusing.

The Invincible Gunners!

With its 2-1 defeat of Leicester City, Arsenal FC has just written its name in the history books as the only team to finish a 38-game Premier League season undefeated. The only other team that has ever been undefeated in an entire season was Preston North End in 1888-89, which was a 16-game season. The relegated Leicester side did their best though, drawing first blood in the 26th minute. But later Henry and Vieira answered respectively, and the deed was done. Arsenal fans of the world rejoice!
